News

2008-08-20   We are sorry to announce that Printer has broken up and will no more be making music. No hard feelings though - we just couldn´t get the teamwork up and going in the makings of a new album. Mikkel, Mads and Thomas are working on a new project and will be opening up a new site on Myspace in the nearest future. Printer

2008-06-21   We have begun working on a new release so this is why there haven´t been much activity on this site recently. We are trying out new styles of work in the studio and hopefully this will result in a new album different from "I Can Take More" and "Can You Take More?". We don´t like to repeat ourselves so we always try to find new paths in our work with our music. No album details will be revealed yet. More info on this site soon.

2008-05-22   Our new single "You Need To" is now out on Adrian Recordings! A cool video has been made as well by the Swedish artist Anders Weberg. Check it out on youtube.com. The track list on the single is: 1.You Need To (Short Edit) 2.Around the Bridges (Demo Version) 3.Nightclub (Andreas Tilliander Remix) For more information go to: adrianrecordings.com

2008-03-31   After a series of shows in Sweden we return to Denmark to play for the first time in over six months! The venue is "Huset i Magstræde" in Copenhagen and it takes place on the 2nd of May. More info on this site soon.

2008-01-30   Our new album "Can You Take More?" is out in Sweden on the 20th of February on Adrian Recordings. In order to follow up the release, a few gigs in Sweden have been lined up. We will play in Stockholm on the 28th of February and in Malmö on the 8th of March. In Stockholm you will be able to see shows from a lot of other exciting artists including Boeoes Kaelstigen, who has done a great remix of "I Swear" on the forthcoming Swedish release. For more information go to: Adrian Recordings.

Discography

In Absentia
(CD album, 2005)

Big in Japan? Quince Records in Tokyo licensed 10 songs from our previous releases and a 2 unreleased tracks for this Asia-exclusive album.

"An electronic pop band, Printer, from Denmark. ... The playing style that evolved from the indie guitar sound where the rock sprits overflows makes a clear distinction with so-called electronica. ... "To Believe", a bonus track only of Japan that feels the New Order."

Rasmus designed our old website, and Quince used most of his design for the cover art.

  Rhizomatic Baby
(CD album, 2005)

Our first full length album came out mid June 2005 accompanied by a DJ friendly vinyl EP with remixes from Andreas Tilliander, Rasmus Møbius and Pellarin.
Half the songs on this record are faster dirty techno/new wave songs, and the other half mellow indie-electronics.
Again, we benefit from Mads Teglers photographic skills.

Absence
(CD mini album, 2003)

Experimental pop music with strong focus on songs, athmosphear and abstract electronic soundscapes.
This is also the debut release of Statler & Waldorf.
We are very proud of the fine cover art and remixing that our friends did for us. Thanks Mads Teglers, Rasmus Møbius and Jonas Olesen.
